Tony Wong is an innovator in the field of Software Development Project Management. With over a 14 years of experience, Tony specializes in revamping the way companies manage their projects to produce extraordinary project success which has created a broad demand for his instruction.
But that’s all kind of boring. Tony’s more interesting background roots are his study of the teachings of Zen which studying for years. He also has experience as a Bukido martial arts trainer, and as an international and businessman in Tokyo, Taipei, and Hong Kong. But perhaps the most shocking and interesting thing that informs his project management techniques is his familiarity with the principles and practices of U.S. Navy Seals hand-to-hand combat. Tony’s industry experience includes financial services automotive, media and publishing for a variety of clients including senior level PMO Director, program management, project management and account management positions on assignments for Disney, Toyota, Ogilvy, CAA, Fidelity National Financial, Honda, LSI Logic, Nestle, Weider Publications, Nissan, Bank of America, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Apple Computers, Honda, Lexus and many, many others. Prior to founding his own consultancy, Tony was the Director of Project Management for Neudesic, one of Microsoft’s leading .NET professional services firms where he successfully led a 100-person consultancy with a portfolio of 40-plus concurrent projects to success. Before that, Tony led Honda Motorcycles to strategically plan, develop and implement their consumer-facing web presence for all Honda’s motorcycles, scooters and watercraft. The results of this 2-year, 120,000 man-hour effort can be seen at powersports.honda.com. All of this equates to deep and broad experience in complex enterprise systems integration projects comprised of 55 people and millions of dollars over several years as well as fast-moving, high-impact, massive projects like re-architecting Honda corporate’s digital communications platforms.
